Kristin has been forging a path in the entertainment industry from her early days in Wisconsin. She has worked in various areas of the entertainment industry, including production coordination on a small independent film, and management and public relations for celebrities and artists where, among other matters, she assisted in development and pre-production for a live stage musical based on the Gamble & Huff music catalog. It was during that time that Kristin decided to return to school in pursuit of entertainment law, and she has now added over a decade of experience on the legal side of the industry handling a wide array of entertainment and business transactions including the negotiation and drafting of merchandising, sponsorship and endorsement, music publishing, book publishing, recording, composer, touring, vendor, producer, side artist, digital and new media, social media influencer, and various licensing, among other, agreements.

Prior to joining LaPolt Law, Kristin was an associate at a boutique law firm in Beverly Hills and Century City, where she gained significant experience in the music publishing area administering clients’ song catalogs and working closely with songwriters, publishers, publishing companies, their relations with the National Music Publishers’ Association, the protection of creators’ rights and the continuously changing landscape of the exploitations of such rights.
